As a youth of this generation in the 21st Century going into the 22nd the internet and social media has intertwined with our everyday lives. We are immune to information hitting us at 300 miles a minute while instant gratification sits between our fingertips and a LCD screen. We are vibrant, colorful, full of life, and so sure of ourselves yet as technology advances our souls become stagnant. Where do we go from here knowing that we can't go backwards while having no sense of whats ahead of us? Have we hit a breaking point being that we are so conflicted whether within ourselves or as generation? I feel we are in a sense of limbo. These thoughts and emotions I confront in this painting.
